Monica Lia Setti is a Mindbody Coach based in Portland, Oregon. She is trained in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), Emotional Awareness & Expression Therapy (EAET), Sarno x Sachs Solution, and Mental Health First Aid. She is also a member of The Association for the Treatment of Neuroplastic Symptoms (ATNS - symptomatic.me) and a founding member of the Coaches Advisory Council for the ATNS

Monica Lia is a licensed special educator who traded classroom teaching for Mindbody Coaching after her own recovery journey from chronic pain & conditions. Since early childhood, she experienced many neuroplastic symptoms, which include IBS, food & environmental sensitivities, adrenal fatigue, anxiety, Piriformis Syndrome, low back pain, sciatica, hip pain, chronic whip lash, and more. Monica Lia received her M.Ed in Elementary Special Education from Portland State University. She has twice been a guest on Nicole Sachs podcast, “The Cure for Chronic Pain”, first as a chronic pain patient and a second time as a Mindbody Coach. She guest taught twice with Nicole Sachs and the Break Awake team at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies. Monica Lia is also a certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and loves working with young adults, parents, and anyone willing to listen to her vibrant and humorous stories.

Monica Lia sees herself as a holding place of education, information, and resources for teaching clients tools and strategies for recovering from chronic pain, symptoms, and conditions. She believes we all hold the innate power to heal ourselves, but sometimes having a well-informed guide is the exact support we need.

She enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her two children and spunky dog.
